I am in the same boat. My favorite thing to eat is hoagies. Love my bread, but cutting it out completely is the way for me. I am not missing it since I quit eating sandwiches for lunch every day. I am not completely cutting carbs, but cutting white bread, pasta, rice. They now make frozen microwave steam bags of cauliflower rice that I am using as a rice substitute and it's great!
