I know that addiction is a real thing, but I smoked cigars for about 2-3 years in the late eighties/early nineties, and I've been smoking about 300-400 per year for the last ten, but I've also gone weeks or even months without smoking. Just recently, in fact: I don't think I smoked a single cigar the first two weeks of December.
And, moreover, in the year 2010, I only smoked 3 cigars total.
I'm not saying you're wrong, of course, but I don't think it's possible for me to get addicted to them. And I would be surprised to learn that I was
that
unique in that regard.
