That certainly is true. Some of us realist know the truth about CF bikes. They are actually plastic bikes. They are carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Like all plastics they deteriorate in the sun, and after time.
If you were to set a CF frame and a Ti out side for 10 years, there would be almost no visible change in the Ti frame but the CF frame would show a great deal of weathering.
