you see bottomline is that EPLUS is not for everybody.
especially NOT FOR non-technical ,non-electrical ,non-electonics person.
Example you have on this 2 last pages of this thread.
He replaced cells and he thought he would just connected to NMH electronics and everything is going to work.
Not so fast.
By disconnecting string of 30 cells he put main PIC chip into specific mode.
His NMH electronics are most probable OK.
The next step is to go to that's chip datasheet and start reading like several hundreds pages of it.
But it is written not in common English.
Another problem with E+ is display/controller in which tactile switches will start failing generating all kind of errors.
Rebuilding switches are really for handy person only.
