Oil heat sucks. I made the mistake of not checking our level before the snow storm Friday night, so of course we ran out yesterday.

Oil deliveries were charging an emergency service fee, so I figured I'd go get some empty cans and put auto diesel in the tank as it's the same thing as heating oil. 11 gallons in, thought we would be good till Monday. Nope, it ran out this morning so I've gotta make another fuel run. 11 gallons in about 18 hours... that is phenomenally inefficient. Can't wait to move in a month.
