Short answer is no. It's not worth anyone's time or effort, let alone the transport cost. We are a business, not a charity (blunt answer, I know, but we provide employment opportunities for people who might need food banks; they don't want the work, so...). I think last year, the waste was picked up by a pig guy -- he paid the cost of taking it away, and he lived on the island so didn't have to pay ferry fees.
I also seriously doubt that the food bank clients would eat them; even they have become very choosy.
Like I said, not worth the effort.
They'd be great with muffin stumps.
