I only use the cassette sprocket as a backdrop-catcher for "overspray". Spraying blindly at a "flying" chain makes some of the droplets airborne and wasted. Sometimes, I'll also spray at the chain in the drail. pulley. But nothing "recycles" the lube as goods as a moving chain in the
middle sprocket of a cassette/freewheel.
