What is the deal with Lemond bikes? They seem to have everything you could want - light frame and wheels, modern components, but they seem to be a dime a dozen online - and usually, pretty affordable.
The only reason I can think of is that they possibly appealed to riders who wanted to upgrade to whatever else came along and didn't want to keep a garage full of old bicycles. There's nothing wrong with them at all.
