Nor do I, I think OP is looking for a full electronic compressor with all of those bells and whistles. I have a shop compressor in my garage and it is great for tools and filling truck/car tires. Tried it on my bikes and it really is not that great cause even with a nice chuck on it, getting the right pressure is tricky since it is so fast. The little electic pumps that OP might be thinking of tend to suck and I would rather just grab a decent floor pump.
Also I did pick up a Topeak floor pump and it is so much better for pumping bike tires than my shop compressor, plus I can throw it into the back of my truck and use it to top off my bikes faster than any portable electric pump.
There's no need for anything electronic to regulate the pressure. A $20 pressure regulator works just fine...probably better than an electronic version since it doesn't require power and is less prone to breaking.
I agree with you about floor pumps. I've thought of getting a compressor for 20 years but every time I think about it, I realize that I just don't need the hassle of dealing with the compressor. A $40 floor pump will last decades and doesn't need to be plugged in.
