Whoa! Pics! I am a GT fanboy and have an old 1990 GT Karskoram mountian bike that I love. There are 3 GT auctions I am watching now on eBay, two for titanium models. What is the ride of the GT road bike like? I have heard it is a bit stiff. Have you got a titanium GT? Back when I liked to mountain bike, my dream bike was the polished aluminium Zaskar. What a ride! My Karakoram is still kicking and still great.
Jet, I sold a ton of those 90 Karakorams. I'm buried with the holidays but I'll try to get some pics on this weekend. Have two Xizang Ti mountain bikes in the stable, A very rare mint 10 yr old 24" wheeled Zaskar that I built this fall for my 10 yr old daughter rides/races, A mint 10yr old Edge Aero Aluminum Ultegra equiped road bike that had never touched the ground until this past July, Avalanche in Tange Prestige steel (pre-aluminum days, pre Xizang) and at least a half dozen others that were built up. The only empty stall in the barn is the one that says GT Edge Ti (road bike) above it. I will fill that someday but want to wait for the original first generation 95-6 vintage high polished one to come along. I'm not interested in the one that was produced under contract by Litespeed from 98-01
