Between what the frameset says will work, what width wheels it actually is sold with, and what tires you want to put on....you can end up experiencing a very different answer to any claims.
Besides. It is a tire, 2x 5 minute jobs. They should be happy to test it-as if it works it'll land them a $2000 sale for basically no work.
