I started walking again yesterday for the first time in about a year. Before I started cycling, I walked 8-10 miles a day, every day at a pace of 5+ mph.
When I started cycling, I stopped walking but now with the cold temps and icy conditions, I started walking again.
Yesterday, I did 1.8 miles in 26 minutes, well off my old pace. I share this because it would appear that fast cycling and fast walking are not as related as I would have thought.
