Attn all n00b's: when you rattle can an old racing bike some random color, put some modern V-rims with big, garish decals and colored tires and bullhorn bars (or upright bars, or moustache bars, or...) you are not restoring that old bike, no matter how much effort you put into packing the greasy parts with new grease.
What Dboyle has here is what we call a restored bike. (with maybe 0.5 points deducted for incorrect chain and cog set.)
Beautifully done.
