Yesterday, I did 1.8 miles in 26 minutes, well off my old pace. I share this because it would appear that fast cycling and fast walking are not as related as I would have thought.
Very true. Through the last decade I've spent periods of time when I just bicycled, and other times when I only walked. The transition from cycling to walking, and vicey-versey, is a challenge. I would have thought the opposite was true, also, but I guess it ain't.
