Your classic Italian could very well have been made in Japan or Taiwan, not that there's anything wrong with that, my MIJ Bianchi Limited is fine frame. 12-speed means 1980s; someone here will recognize the paint scheme and narrow it down to model and year and maybe even have a link to the catalog page for it.

Frame is a 25", are you 6" tall or better? Paint looks pretty hammered (Are you looking to a repaint project?) Probably has $40 worth of components on it (Are you looking to re-stock your parts bin?) If the wheels are good beside needing a replacement axle, that's worth $40 right there.
