As do I. I use a bell for pedestrians, but will honk if they don't hear the bell. Once in a while I come across an obliviot wearing headphones who doesn't even hear the horn.
Regardless, pedestrians have the right of way, and I will slow down to ensure their safety. Passing at speed is rude and potentially dangerous. (When did I get so OLD?)
Obliviot, I like that. The youngsters plugged into their smart-phones listening to their rap and dance music. Completely oblivious to the world around them especially the traffic. I won't hit them but a car, bus or truck might.
