During daylight savings time, I get a lot of comments riding local roads. One day I was with another ride when some hot chick in a nice car rolled up along the side of us and shouted, you guys are doing good!".

It's a 4% grade right out my front door so local rides are always a climb. I read plenty about others getting nasty comments form drivers etc but doesn't happen to me. One day I was riding up the road when a dude at a park walked out to the curb as I rolled by. He looked a bit shady so I was expecting something negative. He said as I rolled by, "dude, you're moving pretty good, I was way down there when I passed you in my van and you're already here!".

Never had anyone ask me for directions though. Never ha anyone shout obscenities at me either. Guess I'm lucky that way!
