Keith Bontrager has zero credibility on the topic of wheels and metal.

He is the guy who manufactured rims with substandard metal. The rims cracked around the spoke holes and the spokes pulled out.

It's one thing to have poor quality control or to have a defective product and he had the opportunity to do the right thing. He chose to blame riders for not taking care of the wheels properly however, blogged how the wheels failed because owners didn't rinse off winter road salt.
