Bent axles are caused by potholes, jumping curbs etc, not from the QR
The QR exerts even compression, not a bending force.

In general, it's better to start a new thread to address your specific question (bent axle), than bring up an old thread, with old posts that aren't really relevant.

I'm closing this thread, and if you want to troubleshoot a bent axle, I suggest starting a thread in the "Mechanics" forum.
