First flat of the year last night, which was disappointing because I'd gotten out with some daylight left and it was really nice. The valve on the replacement tube was bollixed so I had to do a regular patch, and I take my time with that because I dislike re-doing a patch a few miles later or at home. By the time that was done it was dark and cooling off.
On the bright side it should be another beautiful day for my ride home today.
I spied a Great Blue Heron this morning, sitting on a log in the middle of the creek. They're usually pretty flighty so that's rare for me to see one, except flying away in the distance. This one had unusual coloring on his head - I wish I'd stopped for a photo.
