Did the seller tell you that it is a "touring" bike, or do you think that it is a "touring" bike? You can tour on any bike, but if you're asking for specific info on the Trek you need to give us more info or, better yet, photos. As others have stated already, if it is really a bike Trek built and sold as a touring model, $60 is dirt cheap.
