Of course they ain't got the clue. 300w for 59kg body == 5.08 w/kg. If anyone can sustain that kind of effort for 30 minutes he or she has cat1 fitness. I think 2x20 is possible for me. For any dumbo thinking that they can generate that kind of effort for longer than 20 minutes in this time of the year is a complete moron. You either peak too soon and fading out around May. Some of these dumbo don't understand the concept of "w/kg." That's ok. That is no need to teach them how to train smarter.

I hope you guys realize how much 300watts is...let me put it this way...my coach rode to a sixth place at the junior world championships (over in europe) only producing 50 more watts. Now granted 50 watts it a pretty big margin, none the less, it's pretty impressive to average that.
