So one can do with just TriFlow for both chain and all other parts of the bike? I have an unfinished bottle of TriFlow for some 6 years now, is it still good to use? (only used it for gears, not chain)
After 6 years, it might have gone bad. You don't want to give your bike botulism, do you?
You could use it to lube cable housing, it is the best way to make your shifting smoother, and if it ruins your housing to feed it rotten lube, it doesn't cost much to replace
