I don't wear bib shorts, but here are some that are reasonable. If they wear out. You can buy 4 of them for the price price of what the LBS is charging.
I have several pair of these, and I do have some name brand stuff as well. I'm more than happy with the Santic bike shorts. Have had some of them for two years, and are far from worn out. Definitely NOT inferior IMHO.
