I looked at the Velo Orange BB setups as well but don't know of the quality. Hard to drop 60 dollars on a bottom bracket alone. This will take a while on a tight budget
I wouldn't want to pay that much for a BB for this bike either. You can always put up a WTB ad in the C&V for sale forum. You never know what someone might have that they'd be willing to sell.
