Marine grease is great for almost anything on a bike. Not too thick or sticky. After using about every specialty and non-specialty bike grease under the sun I've settled on Marine grease as well. Cheap, holds up to moisture and lubricates as well as anything and you only need one grease for bearings, screws, seatposts, saddle rails, pedal threads, bar stems, etc. Only thing I wouldn't use it for is most cassette bodies as it's a little too viscous.
