Looking at the instructions, those brakes should have an in-line quick release on the cable. It's probably up near the where the cable exits the handlebar, it's entirely possible that it doesn't those. If there's an inline cable adjuster, you can just turn it as far as possible to open the calipers more.

This is an aerodynamic bike with special aero brakes, and things related to usability sometimes get dropped in favor of aerodynamic concerns.
