When I tried helmet and eye glasses ones, way back when, I found I had to turn my head far enough so the view cleared my shoulder (and then, my hair). That and this ting floating in my side vision was not going to work for me.
The bar end ones had yet to be developed and I was running SunTour bar ends anyway. When the lever body mounted Mirrycles came out their need to drill out a Campy body was a deal killer.
My friend and mentor who ran Bausch and Lomb's modeling dept had come up with his lever mounted mirrors and turn on me and other friends to them. As the bike world moved onto brifters a redesign was needed for the mounting post, which I did (came to me after months of thought like a light bulb turning on).
I can no longer find the mirror blanks or I would go into a small business and make more. Andy
I like that lever mount set-up. Disregarding the mirror itself, is the mount something you have available or could point one in acquiring?
