Thanks 67Tony for posting that picture, it helps show the possible fitting issue that the OP may face with a new seat. See the shiny horizontal rails under the seat? Now look just above the rails, you can see the gray aluminum portion of the seatpost that extends upward above the rails. Going from memory (when I changed a seat a few weeks ago), that portion of the seat post stuck up about 22 mm or so above the rails. So if the new seat has 22 mm or more of clearance between the rails and the underside of the seat, it will fit just fine, but if it's tighter, the seat won't quite fit onto the post.

Otherwise, though, there's absolutely nothing wrong with selecting whatever style of seat that floats your boat! A re-issue Turbo is available which resembles the original seat, but a slimmer, lighter one (like in the photo) is great too.
