That is what I use for commuting. Hi vis hands and reflectors. I know traffic can see me when I give hand signals in any weather.
For winter I have a larger size that I use a liner under, in the summer I have a pair I cut the finger tips off of. Works for me.
I liked these so much that I bought another pair after I lost the first pair after having them for a short while.
