Just out of curiosity, would a key component of this study be that participants were limited to low-glycemic carbs for the low-fat diet?
IMO, there would be a difference in blood glucose, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels when eating high-glycemic carbs vs low-glycemic carbs. One would think low-glycemic carbs would be more advantageous for weight loss.
Or am I wrong in my thinking???
