In your shoes, I wouldn't charge every ride, since the expert advice is that you get the best service life if discharging about half way before charging. So every 3-4 rides probably makes the most sense, but you have to remember.

BTW, I took the Cygo out for a ride this past Saturday and Sunday. They were nice long rides and the light was going strong by the end of Sunday's ride. The riders behind me kept remarking (or was that complaining) on what a bright little devil the Cygo is. Mission accomplished.
