I had to run it backwards even though they recommend that you don't for some reason. The roof on this car is not ideal for the vacuum cups so they went on the rear glass and it held much better. I also got rid of those wheels.
I've still got the stock "Track-pack" wheels on mine. I should have waited for a Coyote powered car to be in my price range, but the 4.6L is plenty fast and it has more fancy stuff than I could have asked for. The fact that it had 30k on it was really the deciding factor.
I'd imagine that the glass roof would have less of an issue mounting that rack the "correct way."
