I didn't know they had multiples. I'll probably be there for that one, no telling which I'll start with.
I climbed Kitt Peak today. I had my doubts about it, but did much better than last year. That said, I was moving at just over "all ducks pass on the left" speed. A young guy passed me on the way up going fast enough that I almost did the Wylie The Coyote spin when he was passed by the Roadrunner. I saw him at the top and we spoke for a few minutes, nice guy, in Tucson to train, from the Northeast.
As much as I loved the descent down Mt. Lemmon, I hated the descent from Kitt Peak. The road is in much worse shape, and the top few miles had apparently been sanded during last weekend's snow, so there were 30-40 mph corners with sand in random spots. I touched the brakes maybe three times coming down Mt. Lemmon, but descended today with my hands in the drops and my fingers on the brakes levers the whole way down.
~11k of climbing in two days, I think I'm tired.
