It's a detached garage, meaning I have to walk out of my house and through the back yard/side yard to get to it. I was out of state for work on and off, plus having visitors for the holidays, and it being cold and raining, I had no reason to enter the garage for about a 1-2 month period. We don't park our cars in there, the only things in there are tools, gardening supplies, various car parts, and my bikes. I don't see how this is so perplexing. It is essentially a storage unit. Do you go open all of your drawers at home every day to make sure your things are still there?
