Reborn CoMotion

I thought I'd share my efforts at refurbishing our Speedster. Bought as a custom fillet frame back in 1997 for me and my late wife's 10th anniversary. 10 years and many thousands of miles later the stoker seat went empty. Fast forward to 5 years ago and the bike found use again.

I was never happy with some details of the frame right from the beginning. The stupid stylistic internal tube shift cable routing that ran the cables around the very outside edge of the stoker shell and the resulting lack of cable/ring clearance and convoluted path. Poor rear brake cable stop/adjuster location. Cable tunnels which didn't like liners. The use of frame shifter bosses with bolt on stops. None of these were deal breakers and were lived around for years. But with the new blood and the OE paint getting well worn I decided to make this bike my new partner's and mine.

Here's a couple of teaser shots from the Flicker album and the link. https://www.flickr.com/photos/organi...57676883117315
