I used to live in Imperial Beach and Newport Beach - just too many humans in you're part of the world. But the bike riding temps near the coast can't be beat.
I agree with you to a point.
There is, however, crappy weather and we have had some of it lately.
I live in a less crowded area of SoCal, but even here it is getting too crowded for my taste.
