Again, the OP said all highway. I was simply replying to what he said and I was replying based upon years of being a roady who also has a mountain bike. And someone who plays around with tires quite a bit. I really feel the difference between 23 tires and anything wider. I guess it is a relative thing. I just put on some new 23's to replace some 25's I had on the bike I bought off Craigslist and for me it is a big positive difference for all road work, which is what the OP said his commute was.
