MKS is by far the nicest alternative. If you take the pedal out . it has the slimmest profile, much narrower than any folding pedal. keep in mind that with a folding pedal you save about 50 to maybe 60 % of the regular width ... The nicest folding pedal is maybe the mks fd series. But the take apart pedals win in the weight and width category all the time .
