I got a bag of reusable Zip ties , so you can tie the removed pedal to the bike, MKS EZ Superior, a good one, and not loose it,
If tying a few Knots in some cordage is too slow..
Asian (MKS has some of those too..) Folding pedals are not as subtantial as Brompton's,
but Brompton's Cost, is probably more than you want to spend..
I only have personal experience with Brompton's folding Pedal.. but it has been Good..
(Used bike, but by showing them a close up of stress cracks they sent a new Pedal)
