that is the subject of my OP before it got derailed is in fact a legal class 2 e-assist bike. The whole point being I was pleasantly surprised they still allow one to get quality exercise rather than being entirely passive like a motorcycle or scooter.
Unfortunately some feel compelled to punish safe, respectful, legal e-cyclists for the misdeeds of a few to protect their delicate sensibilities.
