Yes, I run the Wellgo M138 on a Bike Friday ticket for 5 years. Don't have super high mileage on them but they are quality level pedals.

I also have the MKS on Dahon speed TR. Again not my primary rider(not high miles but run them about 7 years), MKS obviously a high quality brand, this model did not go on my repeat buy list till I put on foot retention system.
Sounds like OP found the appropriate price point quality level he wanted anyways.
Both the MKS and the QRD sound overkill for an occasional used short run beater.
