the expensive ($100+) chain tools try to re rivet the pins... taking a chain apart stretches the hole the pin is fixed into..

back in the 6 speed era the chains were wider, pins wider yet, Now those 3/32" , are single speed / IGH chains, as are 1/8"..

I bought an 1/8" chain for my R'off IGH.. replacement..
