An auction just ended for a mid-80s 3rensho frameset. $1100 or so USD. That's absolutely insane to me, but then again I'm ****ing broke. What would you all be willing to pay for something that was exactly what you'd been looking for (maybe looking for for years)?

To keep things simple let's say used frame and fork. My limit ... right now .... $400 (CDN).
yea, my limit was basically $400 for the frameset.
I paid $400 for my "dream" frameset w/ cranks and a stem. (I still think I overpaid, but meh, its a unique frame in my opinion + the sense of security dealing with a BF member.)

well eyefloat, at least you have a job!

I don't (but I do have allowance yay!)
and I am currently stuck with a frameset, cranks, a stem, and hubs/cog...
I have about... $400 left for everything else.
will I make it?
I need rims, rim tape, tubes & tires, bars, bar tape, 27.0 seatpost (if only it was 27.2), saddle, and pedals...
and I'm going to get cavernmech to build it up for me
