I had one a while ago after a rain and needed to take a little more of the road to avoid it. A guy in a car must have come within inches of me trying to pass. I caught him at the next red light and yelled at him. Life in the big bad city, I guess.
The lanes on Riverside Dr are narrow, and it's a twisty street, but traffic isn't really that heavy, is it? I just take a lane and let people go around me. Though I don't need Riverside often any more, since I take the Hudson River Greenway. That's reachable from the bridge, and it's very low stress since it has no motor traffic.
