27.0 is a fairly common seat size for mid to low cost bikes for decades. I saw far more of this size then 26.4 when I started my wrenching in the early 1970s.


It's an easy job to cut down the seat to 26.4 though. So I wouldn't spend too much energy with this question. Andy
