I have a center lock on the front hub of my Bike Friday travel bike, I use a 6 bolt disc, with an adapter to mount it. it works fine.

I do part time work at LBS in summer Packing Touring rider's bikes to ship them back east, the disc comes off for packing

and not worrying about it getting bent in transit, because it is packed separately.

there , that is an advantage.. coming off easily, with a Shimano cassette lock ring tool

So you do have a choice in what discs you buy , to use on a centerlock splined hub.

May want a Shimano compatible driver on the rear hub, to have access to more cassette choices vs Campag type.
