I have a Wolber GTX rim with 36 holes. It is hard anodized (the sticker says so). In five places near the eyelets there are short hairline cracks. This is the most serious of them, and the only one to be cracked also on the inside of the rim (the side beneath the rim tape). All the other 31 spoke holes are fine. Would you throw this rim away? I was planning in using it to build a back wheel for a city bike made of scrap parts with wide-ish tyres.
Thank you!
