Never understood the hanger cutouff "conversion" as nice to swap them back and forth (fixed to geared) if desired. Some great deals on fixed products over the last 1-2 years esp wheelsets and cranks, cogs, etc. Same as cv really. But enjoying 78 and 88 trek conversions over last 12 months (both still rock the hangers, unplugged and unoticed)
