You wouldn't! I believe you, but I was never able to get that kind of play out of the adjusters on my last two bikes. My last bike, a 2012 Trek Madone had a single adjuster that was good for slight adjustments only. When I swapped wheels I had to drag out the tools. Note that I'm not a mechanic and my comments are based on my own somewhat limited experience.

But I still love the Di2 setup...
